Born in Leigh-on-Sea, England
Studied at Southend School of Art In the late 1960's

Throughout the 1970's I worked for numerous Bands as a Tour Manager
including Procol Harum, Van Morrison & Madness,
working extensively in Europe, the US and Australia.

During this period developed a process to construct and paint large inflatables for advertising, display and decorative purposes .

In 1980 I moved to San Francisco and began working at FM Productions as Assistant Head of their Scenic Department.
Whilst there we constructed and painted countless sets and props for a wide variety of clients
such as The Rolling Stones, IBM, Pepsi, Democratic Convention, The Jacksons and many others.

In 1984 created Barry Sinclair & Associates
Specialising in Design, Consultancy and Construction Services to clients in the areas of
retail display, restaurant development, corporate image, conventions / conference, and multimedia performance.

In 2006 moved back to the UK
In 2012 co-curated the "Thames Delta" Exhibition at the Beecroft Art Gallery reflecting the growth, variety and development
of popular music by those groups and individuals that have grown up or lived in the Southend-on-Sea, Canvey Island and Basildon area since the late 1940s.
